Have you ever visited Paris or Stockholm ?
There are some similarities between Paris and Stockholm . The first thing is that Paris became the capital of its country and Stockholm did too. The second thing is that the two cities are very old. To illustrate, Paris was founded by the Romans. It was renamed Paris in the 5 th century. In addition, Stockholm dates from 13 th century. The third similarity is that both of them attract many tourists because they have lots of interesting places to visit. For instance, Paris contains” Notre Dame Cathedral”, “the Louvre museum” and lots of nice outdoor cafes where you can have delicious croissants and coffee. On the other hand, Stockholm also contains lots of museums and open spaces and places.
There are differences between Paris and Stockholm . The first two differences are location and population. On the one hand, Paris is located on the River Seine in the north of France . It has a population of 9.93 million people in its urban area which occupies 1.200 square killometres. On the other hand, Stockholm is located by the lake ”Malaren” on the east coast of Sweden . The city population is approximately 1.2 million and it has an area of 375.25 square kilometers.
The second difference lies in the weather. To illustrate, Paris has a mild weather. The average lowest temperature is-2 c in January and the highest average temperature is 24 c in the months of July and August. It can rain at any time in the year. The city average yearly precipitation is641.6 mm. On the contrary, the weather of Stockholm is cold in winters and warmer in summers. The average lowest temperature is -7 c. The highest average temperature is25 c in July. In addition, the annual precipitation is539 mm.
All in all, Paris and Stockholm have many advantages which encourage many people to visit them. They are considered the most beautiful regions in the world. Consequently, I hope to visit them in the future.
